Just touch and drag.Ĭreating your own synth from the many available tools is a lot of fun, and very satisfying. ![]() Everything responds very well to touch and gesture input, so moving individual parts around is a simple task. It wont take long before you clutter up the screen with virtual wires and modules. Simply select the function you want, and it appears on-screen. A main circular menu made up of 8 smaller circles contains all the mods and nodes, each with its own sub menu to drill down to further, finer functions. Making connections is as easy as drawing a line that connects the parts. All those functions are easily accessed by touching the main menu, function button with a second touch elsewhere on the screen. The modules, nodes, tools, and all are neatly tucked away out of sight. One is an info of sorts, button that identifies things on-screen, and the other is the main menu. Located at the top left of the screen are the two buttons. is brilliantly designed with really just two primary buttons viewable on the screen at all times. I had been looking forward to finally give it a try. I’ve known about the enthusiastic following of the Mac version, so like many of you I was pretty psyched about it porting over to iPad. Audulus arrives and changes my whole perception of this kind of music application. Even though its not the first modular synth to hit iOS, it does perform well, and I like its U.I. None ever really impressed me very much until now. Their customer service has been really great so far on a lot of things, so I’m hoping that will extend to this problem as well.Audulus is made by W. There’s clearly something different about the way Discourse is handling files that prevents the “Open in Audulus” option from showing up. Hopefully we’ll get a better answer about this soon. In other words, what other people have already suggested in the forum topic above. I’ve tested this with links from here: I haven’t found any way to open a file directly in Audulus without first saving it. It can then be saved and later opened in Audulus. Doing this displays the file on the screen in the same way as when the link is quick pressed. The other thing that works is to long press the link and then select Open, or Open in New Tab, from the options menu. ![]() The file can then be saved and opened in Audulus. This opens the file and displays it on the screen. Audulus files can be downloaded on an iPad by quick pressing the download link. I have Audulus on my iPad, so I’ve looked at this a bit. ![]()
